MINDD2 (“MINDD2”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to being clear about the information we collect, why we use it, what other users can see, and the choices available to you.
MINDD2 is built around a simple principle:
“MINDD2 asks how you think, not who you are.”
Our experiences are designed to help people discover shared perspectives and meaningful connections without requiring them to disclose unnecessary personal information.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use MINDD2, we may collect the following information.
1.1 Account Information
To create and secure an account, MINDD2 may require:
- Phone number — required for account access and OTP verification.
- Email address — optional, where supported.
- Name — optional.
- Profile avatar — selected from the available avatar options in the initial version.
- Gender — optional. If a user does not select a gender, the account may display “Not mentioned.”
Your phone number and email address are private account information and are not intended to be displayed to other users.
1.2 Question and Choice Information
When you participate in a MINDD2 experience, we store information such as:
- The question you answered.
- The option you selected.
- The date/time of participation.
- The relevant question category and product metadata.
- Whether the experience was part of a shared-question flow, where applicable.
A submitted choice is locked and cannot normally be changed.
1.3 Connections and Shared Experiences
We may store information needed to operate MINDD2 connections and shared experiences, such as:
- Connection status.
- Shared-question participation.
- Whether two users have answered the same question.
- Shared-perspective information that is permitted to be shown after both users have participated.
1.4 Community Information
If you participate in Community, we may collect and store:
- Messages or other content you submit.
- Images or approved GIFs, where supported.
- Information associated with reports or moderation actions.
- Basic timestamps and technical information needed to operate the Community.
1.5 Technical Information
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure and improve MINDD2, such as:
- Device and browser information.
- IP address or similar technical identifiers where required for security.
- Log information.
- Error and performance information.
- Security and abuse-prevention signals.
The exact technical data collected will depend on the services and infrastructure used by MINDD2.
2. INFORMATION MINDD2 DOES NOT INTENTIONALLY REQUEST THROUGH ITS QUESTIONS
MINDD2 questions are designed around perspectives rather than personal identification.
MINDD2 does not intentionally design ordinary question experiences to request highly sensitive or unnecessary personal information.
Examples of information that MINDD2 should not ask users to provide through question experiences include:
- Passwords.
- Bank account numbers.
- Card numbers or security codes.
- Government identification numbers.
- Exact home addresses.
- Private documents.
- Authentication codes.
- Highly sensitive medical information.
- Other information that could unnecessarily identify or expose a person.
Questions may discuss personal experiences, emotions, values, preferences or hypothetical situations, but their purpose is to understand perspectives rather than collect identifying information.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use information to:
- Create and secure your account.
- Verify your identity through OTP.
- Provide MINDD2's core question and discovery experience.
- Store your locked choices and answer history.
- Help surface permitted shared perspectives.
- Operate connections and Community.
- Deliver relevant service notifications.
- Prevent spam, abuse, fraud and malicious activity.
- Respond to reports and safety concerns.
- Maintain and improve reliability, performance and security.
- Provide customer support.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not intend to use your personal account information for purposes unrelated to operating, securing, improving or legally supporting MINDD2 without an appropriate basis or notice.
4. YOUR ANSWERS AND LOCKED CHOICES
MINDD2 is designed around authentic participation.
Once you submit a choice for a question:
- The choice is locked.
- You cannot normally edit or replace it.
- The same question should not appear again as unanswered for that user.
- The system maintains the answer as part of your MINDD2 activity/history.
This helps preserve the authenticity of the experience.
5. PROTECTION OF FRIEND ANSWERS BEFORE YOU ANSWER
MINDD2 has an important privacy rule:
A person's selected option for a question should not be revealed to another user until that other user has submitted their own choice for the same question.
This protection applies to the extent supported by the product and its technical systems, including:
- Notifications.
- Email.
- Board/result views.
- Profiles.
- Community.
- Shared-question links.
- Popups and banners.
- API responses.
- Other product surfaces.
Before you answer the same question, MINDD2 should not intentionally reveal or indirectly expose which option your friend or connection selected.
After both users have answered the same question, MINDD2 may show appropriate shared-perspective or comparison information.
6. WHAT OTHER USERS CAN SEE
MINDD2 is designed to minimize unnecessary exposure of personal account information.
Other users should not be able to see:
- Your phone number.
- Your private email address.
- Authentication information.
- Other private account/security information.
Depending on your participation and the product experience, other users may be able to see information such as:
- Your chosen display name, if provided.
- Your avatar.
- Your gender setting, where the product displays it.
- Your Community contributions.
- Shared-perspective information that the product permits to be shown.
- Other information you voluntarily make visible through your participation.

Please do not share information that you would not want another person to see or retain.
MINDD2 will take reasonable measures to provide safety tools, moderation and reporting mechanisms, but no online service can guarantee that information voluntarily shared by a user will never be copied or misused by another person.
8. SHARED QUESTIONS AND INVITATIONS
MINDD2 may allow users to share a question or MINDD2 experience with another person.
A shared experience is designed so that the recipient can make their own choice before the sender's specific choice is revealed.

10. NOTIFICATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
MINDD2 may send notifications necessary for account operation, security, connections, Community activity or other meaningful product events.
Notifications should not reveal a friend's selected answer to a question that you have not yet answered.
Where email notifications are available, users may be provided with appropriate preferences and controls as the product develops.
11. COOKIES, ANALYTICS AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
MINDD2 may use cookies, local storage, analytics or similar technologies to operate the service, remember preferences, understand performance, maintain security and improve the product.
